A type 1 MUGA and type 1 MUGA install is a multi use games area that is a ball court for children and kids to play various sports including netball, basketball, football and tennis. Both are finished in a tarmac sports surface all weather pitch in parks, schools, leisure centres, nurseries and sports clubs. Installing the painting, colour coating, spraying of anti slip paint is applied to give the slip resistance and can be coloured to any RAL but in general the main colours are red, blue and green. The anti slip paint is an acrylic paint or polyurethane coating dependent on the intense of use. Line marking is then applied so that the kids can play on the MUGAs and should you have any questions with regards to measurements, quotes, prices, costs, dimensions, sizes, budgets, funding, design, specification we can assist you anywhere in the UK.

A type 3 MUGA and type 4 MUGA install is a multi use games area that in school playgrounds, parks and play areas are very popular. The children and kids are able to play a mixture of sports on the sports court and the surface for the type 3+4 MUGAs is completed in a polymeric surface. A polymeric surface is in rubber crumb and the polymeric surfacing is ideal for children and kids because has a degree of comfort should they fall and is a safer surface. Installing the polymeric surfacing is the same material that is used on long jump runways, high jump fans, long jump run up landing pit mowing strip, javelin run ups and other athletics surfaces. A type 5 MUGA install is a multi use games area sports court that again is installed in parks, sports clubs facilities, school play areas and many contractors / suppliers have different types of artificial grass they try to push to tailor fit each particular sport the school requires. The sports grass is an all weather pitch surface that again is ideal for hockey, rugby, football, cricket and basketball. The sports court MUGAs surfaces are an all weather surface that should be playable all year round which the children, kids and schools love. Installing the type 5 artificial grass can vary from a 2G needlepunch, 2G sand filled synthetic turf, 2G sand dressed synthetic grass to a 3G third generation synthetic turf sports surfaces. The prices, quote, costings, design and dimensions do vary from site restrictions including access and how often the sports facility is used by the players, children and maybe even toddlers.

Regardless of where you're situated, please ring our head office because we do travel further and have travelled to places in Ireland, mainland Europe but it makes the design, specification, measuring up on site for the dimensions that little bit more difficult when trying to supply prices, costs and quotes to the customer. If a design, bill of quantities and specification is supplied then the quotations should be easy to send through.
