Javelin Runway Construction Companies, Contractors, Suppliers
To meet IAAF or UK Athletics specifications and designs, the Javelin run up should be 30m in length by 4m in width and is made from Tartan or Polymeric surfacing. This type of surface is used for many types of athletics facilities like long jump runways and is constructed by mixed recycled EPDM rubber crumb with a PU polyurethane binder and installing to the required area with a trowel.
Javelin has a throwing Arc, and this is normally constructed by painting a white onto the surface, this is normally 50mm thick. However, if you do not have enough size to use or the standard of sporting participation is only school or recreational level, Soft Surfaces Ltd can install this facility to any size, dimension and specification that you require.
Designs, costings, budgets, funding and prices are all services that we can help you with along with the full construction and maintenance of the throwing area or facility. Simply fill in our contact form with the details of your enquiry and we’ll get back to you with an idea of the costs.
