Multisport Synthetic Long Jump Runway
We have recently installed a long jump runway facility in Preston, Lancashire. Check out the video below to see the full project and how it turned out.

Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a MultiSport Long Jump Pit Installation in Preston.
This installation was carried out at a school, and they gave us a ring looking for a new long jump facility to be fitted alongside their existing sports pitch. We described the surface types we can offer, and shortly after we agreed that multisport would be perfect for them.
So the multisport synthetic surfacing we fit is an artificial flooring that is very well suited to long jump and triple jump use. We’ve been fitting multisport surfaces across the country for over 20 years now, and have seen a steady rise in it’s popularity during that time.
Multisport synthetic is excellent due to the fact that it’s a very durable surface type, and requires no real maintenance other than occasional brushing. This makes it very easy to own, and multisport still feels fantastic to use under foot for athletics too.
Additionally, multisport is also a brilliant option for those wanting an outdoor facility here in the UK, as it’s porous qualities help reduce flooding and enable use all year round.
Finally, with multisport, clients have the freedom to choose nearly any colour they’d like for their surface to be installed in, and can even choose to have different colours for each lane like this job. We can work all of this out with you during the enquiry stage.
So here’s the photos of the final installation now, and you can see the client went for this blue and red lane specification with the blue sand pit cover. They really love their new sports facility.
