Wetpour Rubber Granules Supplies
We can provide wetpour rubber granules supplies which create a great flooring surface for playgrounds and play areas. This is because the EPDM rubber surface consists of a two layer porous impact absorbing system. This makes it a safe flooring which meets the critical fall height (CFH) requirements. Wetpour safety surfacing contains a two tier system, this is a shock pad and the wearing course.
The impact absorbing base layer thickness can be changed to meet the CFH of each area and any play structures or equipment that are present, the thickness base layer varies from 30mm to 150 mm. The wearing course normally consists of 1-4mm EPDM rubber. We then mix this with the polyurethane resin and pour it onto the surface. The appearance of the EPDM will depend on the colours that the school or nursery chooses to have. We offer a range of colours for wetpour including:
We also offer a range of colour mixes with multiple colours together in one design. The choice is completely up to you, however premium colours will come at a larger price point. View our full wet pour colour chart to see all the options we have.
Our team will be more than happy to provide more information on the supply of wetpour rubber granules. We will also offer details on the various colours we can supply. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Wet Pour Rubber Suppliers
Playground flooring can go onto various sub bases, the most popular is a compact MOT type 1 stone sub base. However we generally prefer to use a solid porous sub base such as macadam. The shock pads which we install are 100% recycled styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) crumb. We’ll then mix this material with a polyurethane resin binder.
Wetpour rubber granules supply a continuous appearance in a variety of colours. We normally install it onto flat areas but this is not to say we can’t mould it to hills or ramps. Rubber crumb can be installed in various colours, from black, red, green, blue, orange, purple teal to multi-coloured designs and this can improve the appearance of your rubber playground surface. As wet pour suppliers we can assist you with designs and costs for your playground safety surface. We’re also able to create a bespoke facility to suit the needs of the kids who will be using the area.
Have a look at the video below, it shows a project in Kilmarnock that we recently carried out. The work involved installing an intricate rubber surface design with a large roadway, numbers, stars and striped pathway. This safety flooring is ideal for these areas as it provides a fun design. Along with this it’s also impact absorbing to protect against injuries.
