Wet Pour EPDM Rubber Surfacing

Wet Pour EPDM Rubber Surfacing is a two layer porous impact absorbing in-situ rubber safety surface system. Wet Pour has a continuous appearance, which is generally installed to flat areas, but can also be installed over mounded or ramped sub structures. Wet Pour safety surface can be installed in Black EPDM, a single colour EPDM or to multi-coloured designs.

Benefits Of Wet-Pour Surfacing :-

  • Safety: Tested to BS EN 1177
  • Low-maintenance
  • Durable: Tested to BS 7188 for Abrasive Wear (Unaged)
  • All Weather
  • Porous
  • Options of many different colours with unlimited design possibilities

Wet Pour Rubber Surfacing can be installed onto various sub bases. Impact absorbing rubber surfacing is more commonly installed onto a compacted MOT type 1 stone sub base however our preferred sub base would be a solid porous surface, such as open textured porous macadam or no fines concrete.

Wet Pour Rubber Surfacing ‘Base Course’ or ‘Shock Pad’ is manufactured from 100% Recycled SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) rubber crumb which is mixed with a polyurethane resin binder. The impact absorbing base layer can be varied in depth to meet the required Critical Fall Height (CFH) of any play equipment and BS EN 1177 requirements. Full system thicknesses vary between 30mm and 150mm.

Wet Pour Rubber Surfacing ‘Wearing Course’ is an EPDM rubber crumb which is mixed and bonded with a polyurethane resin and then screeded, rolled and floated by hand to the required finish.

Wearing Course Options :

• Black EPDM 100% Recycled
• Colour EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Modified)

We only use top quality materials on all our impact absorbing rubber surfacing which have been tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1177. The wet pour material also complies with the performance requirements of BS 7188 for Abrasive Wear [Unaged], Slip Resistance [Dry & Wet] and Ease of Ignition.

We pride ourselves on giving a prompt and courteous quotation service. We can supply as per the NBS specification, Q26 Special surfacing / pavings for sports / general amenity.
