Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Wetpour and Rubber Mulch Playground Surfacing in Oxford.
So this work was carried out at a nursery, and they several worn-out areas of their surface that they were looking to have replaced.
Their priority was to ensure their new surfacing would be extremely safe for the children to use, but also for a new area that would encourage play for the children.
Here at Soft Surfaces, we have over 20 years of experience fitting and maintaining outdoor safety surfacing nationwide, and we’ve become market leaders within the industry.
So for this particular work, the main surface we fitted for the actual playground area was EPDM rubber wetpour. This is our most popular surface type for play areas, and it’s spongy rubber make up makes it both porous, and brilliant for absorbing trips and falls.
Wetpour then is probably the ideal safety surface for play areas, and here at soft surfaces we can fit this in any colour and design you like! For this job, you’ll see we fit a custom roadway with bespoke flooring graphics to help the kids make the most out of playtime.
Additionally, our team got to work fitting our rubber mulch surfacing for the tree surrounds. Again, rubber mulch is both porous and very safe due to it’s rubber build up, and it’s natural look makes it ideal for areas such as tree surroundings.
You’ll see from these images here that the work has been fully completed, and the nursery themselves were extremely happy with the work we did for them.
