Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Rubber Mulch Daily Mile Track at a School in Manchester.
So for this job, our client was a school looking to have a running track fitted onto their existing field.
Here at Soft Surfaces, we have over 20 years of experience building running tracks across the country, and for this job it was agreed that a daily mile track would be perfect for their needs.
Daily mile tracks are a relatively new initiative that encourages children to run a mile a day on the facility, promoting health and fitness amongst young people in the UK.
These surfaces are becoming increasingly popular, and we can install them in many different surface types depending on your needs.
For this job itself, it was mutually agreed that the best surface choice for their track was rubber mulch. This safety surface is soft and spongy under foot, making it brilliant as a running track and absorbing trips and falls fantastically.
This flooring type is made up of recycled rubber bark that’s then bonded together, making this a more sustainable choice than many rival surfaces too.
