Safer Pour Shock Attenuation Surface For Children’s Parks Flooring

Wetpour safer pour is known as a shock attenuating or shock absorbing safety flooring which is often installed to children’s playground flooring, schools, private sports clubs and parks. Providing the safer pour installation and specification / design or the system is correct, it provides CFH protection of up to 3.0m down to 1.0m, depending on the system depth and sub base.

Poured in place or soft tarmac can be installed to as little a thickness as 20mm on a tarmac sub base, 30mm on a concrete base and 40mm on a MOT Type 1 base with a thickness going to 110mm if required. It is constructed from recycled rubber EPDM granules for the wearing / top layer and SBR granules for the base layer, both mixed with an appropriate binder and laid to specified depths with a trowel and screeded & rolled to finish. Different safer pour colours and graphics can be achieved with this hard wearing & porous system and it can be laid to almost any system location, size and location if requested. The poured in place  spongy rubber system is also tested to BS 7188 to ensure that the system meets all desired requirements.
