Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a Small nursery EPDM Rubber Surfacing in Wolverhampton.

We were approached by this nursery who wanted a brand new safety surface for their pupils to play on during the day.

They specified to us that something that stood out as a play area was important to them, but the upmost importance was the safety element of the flooring.

We explained the advantages of wetpour surfacing to them, and how this could be a great solution for their outdoor play area. Before we knew it was at the nursery installing the job.

So for this work, we were contacted by this nursery that wanted to transform their existing area into an outdoor play area for the kids to use day in and day out.

Because they were having this flooring fitted at their nursery, the client wanted to make sure the surface was super safe for the children to play on.

They also specified that they’d like to have a surface that was colourful, wanting something that could brighten up their nursery and give the area a more playful feel.

Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be showing you a spongy playground flooring construction that we carried out in Woking, Surrey.

So you’ll see here from these photos that this installation was carried out at a small nursery, and required us to remove the existing worn surface to replace it with a bespoke safety flooring for their children to use.

After chatting with the client over the phone, it was quickly agreed that the best surface option for them to go for was an EPDM rubber wetpour specification. This is a surface type we’ve been in installing nationwide for over 2 decades now, and offers the following advantages:

So for this work, the owner of this sports surface got in touch with us citing that it had become worn and damaged overtime from lack of use.

They had concerns that their sports court would need a complete resurfacing, however after we inspected their flooring we determined that we could bring their surface back to life with a professional clean and paint.

Our specialist cleaning and painting service can take an old unusable surface and fully restore it, making it excellent to play on yet again.

The first step of this process is for the surface to undergo a deep clean using from our professional jet wash. This removes absolutely all mud, moss, algae and surface build up, ensuring it’s ready to be painted on.

So you can see from these before photos that the client’s old surface was particularly worn out, with areas of damage and moss build up on the flooring. They got in touch with us to see what we can do, and it went from there.

So from observing their images of their surface, we let the client know that a complete resurfacing was not necessary, and that our cleaning and painting services would help bring the surface back to life.

With the cleaning and painting we offer to sports courts, we carry out a process involving thoroughly cleaning the surface, fixing any small repairs needed and then finally applying our anti-slip paint in the colour or colours you’d like.

For this particular job, once the professional cleaning and repair services had been carried out, the next step was to apply the green, purple and red anti-slip painting that the client specified. They also wanted to ensure that the line-markings applied were perfect for a netball facility, so we designed that with them prior to the install.

So we did this job for this client who owned this large hard court area, and were interested in a colour coating applied for tennis use.

Here at Soft Surfaces we’re able to turn your area into a fully functional tennis court, without the need for resurfacing.

Our team have been working on sports surfaces such as these nationwide for over 20 years now, and we’re proud to be a market leader within the industry.

For job such as this, the process begins with our team ensuring the flooring is fully cleaned prior to painting. This is really important, as it makes sure the area is rid of any moss, algae, dirt and more that could have embedded itself into the flooring.

After that, we go about carrying out any small repairs to the surface if needed, again, to make sure the flooring is fully prepared for painting and line marking.

So for this work, the client got in contact with us and had a hard surface that they wanted transforming into a sports court surfacing.

Their flooring had built up some contamination over the years, and as a result was in need of a professional clean prior to transforming the surface.

So here at Soft Surfaces, we’ve offered our sports court cleaning and painting services nationwide for over 20 years, and are happy to have become market leaders for this service.

So for the client’s flooring, we went about carrying our professional jetwash cleaning of the surface, ensuring any moss, algae and dirt that had embedded into the surface was fully removed, and making sure the flooring was prepared for painting.

So for this job we were contacted by this hospital who had an outdoor terrace area that they were looking to have a new surface installed on.

They made it clear to us that they were looking for a surface type well suited to our unpredictable weather conditions, whilst wanting the ensure the new flooring looked appropriate for the hospital.

So this work was carried out at a nursery, and they several worn-out areas of their surface that they were looking to have replaced.

Their priority was to ensure their new surfacing would be extremely safe for the children to use, but also for a new area that would encourage play for the children.

Here at Soft Surfaces, we have over 20 years of experience fitting and maintaining outdoor safety surfacing nationwide, and we’ve become market leaders within the industry.

So for this particular work, the main surface we fitted for the actual playground area was EPDM rubber wetpour. This is our most popular surface type for play areas, and it’s spongy rubber make up makes it both porous, and brilliant for absorbing trips and falls.
