Athletics landing sand pit covers help to protect the existing track runway from sand being distributed or left on the runway as this can have a long term affect on the tartan surfacing due to the sand blocking the porous nature of the Polymeric surfacing. Having an athletic track sand pit cover can also add a little bit of security to protect against strong winds, animal faeces and falling debris from trees and plants. The Athletic long jump or triple jump runway landing sand pit covers are made from a woven polyester and have poles which are 42mm diameter. However, these can be made to suit most budget / cost requirements subject to the customers funding, budgets available.
