Hi guys it’s Dan here, and today we’re going to be looking at a wetpour pathway installation at a retirement home in Leicester.

So for this job the client got in contact with us to have a new pathway fitted at their facility. For them, the safety of the surface was the priority, but they also wanted their new pathway to look natural in order to preserve the area’s appearance.

We then explained our wetpour flooring to them, and how that could be the perfect surface type for the pathway they desired. Before long, we were at their retirement home installing the job.

So with the wetpour surfacing we install, one of it’s biggest advantages as a surface is just how safe it is. Wetpour is made up of an EPDM rubber, and because of this any falls or trips that may happen on wetpour are absorbed extremely well, significantly reducing the chances of serious injury.

Additionally, as a surface to be installed outside, wetpour is perfect for countries like ours that have a lot of rain each year, as it’s porous. This means that rain is absorbed through the rubber wetpour, making it more flood-resistant and much more suited to the outdoors than many other surface types.
