00:00   Hi, guys. This is Dan from Soft Surfaces here. Today, we’re going to be talking about wet pour maintenance.

00:05   Wet pour is actually one of the more popular rubber safety surfaces across the UK; however, this surface does need maintenance from time to time. In this video, we’re going to be breaking down the many different maintenance types for the surface itself.

00:16    To start off with, we’re going to talk about proactive maintenance. Proactive maintenance is a maintenance technique that massively reduce the chances of more serious repairs in the future. This basically involves occasionally brushing and just general upkeep throughout the year of the surface.

00:32  In the event that your wet pour surface requires a small repair, we actually offer wet pour repair kits for these. These are great as the facility owner can actually use the repair kits themselves and carry it out, saving a lot of time and money for the owner. For any more information about wet pour repair packets, just check out our dedicated video.

00:48   Finally, if your wet pour surface itself is severely damaged, you can actually have a resurfacing. There are two types of resurfacing available. The first one is actually a rip up and replace, which is more expensive as it actually involves us ripping up the entire surface and paying with a brand new one. Second option is an overlay of the existing surface, which is a lot more cost-effective.
